Hello all,

Just in case you aren't familiar with the term 'chaos' it simply refers to a multi-player game.  I've been playing Magic since 1997 with a few hiatuses tossed in.  I moved to the area a few years ago but have never looked for a group until now.  While I do enjoy dueling (or head to head), I find chaos games much more compelling and strategically challenging.  There were times in the past where we'd have 15 man games that lasted many hours (you did not want to be the first one out for sure!).  Obviously I'm not looking for anything that huge, but anything from 4-6 players is ideal.

Many of the new cards I am not familiar with, so I'll be rocking some older stuff.  Ideally, we could set a night (or a day) to simply meet up at the card shop and play a few games.  If you've never played chaos before I'd be more than glad to give some pointers.  We could probably start off pretty casual but if people want to start an anti system we definitely could (back in the day we would shuffle our decks and before drawing a hand flip over the top card of our libraries, the winner took those cards).

I have another buddy in the same situation I'm in, he lives in Fairview heights, so we'd just need a couple more locals to get this ball rolling.

If you have any interest or questions please speak up.

Take care and safe journeys,

Ryan

I'd suggest going to a session of Friday Night Magic, there's tons of players at those events that you could probably talk to. Also they just came out with some sort of new multi-player only deck. I'd tell you more, but I play sparingly and usually before or after DnD sessions, but I'm sure one of the actual magic players or store people could tell you more. FNM is your best bet for meeting people though.

I would agree....come out to FNM. Will be a ton of people there this Friday from 6pm till early morning with the M11 release. I have a few friends and we play table games with 4-6 here and there, could always use a few more peeps. Maybe on open game night we could all meet up sometime.
