Hello. A little bit ago I picked up the Assault on Black Reach starter set for 40k. I have had fun painting the space marine figures but I would like to give the game a try. Would there be a good night to come and have someone show me how the game works? Thanks.

My group plays on Mondays and Saturdays and there's another group that plays on Thursdays.

This is true, since we met and played with this guy you have since changed your gaming day from thursday to tuesday. So for future readers, they meet on tuesday.

We have several people available for games on tuesday nights. I am a decent player, and I am always willing to teach. hey BW, why don't some of you guys from the other nights come throw down on tuesday sometime?

A combination of one of the worst days for people to do anything and lack of store hours. We generally like being there a long time and playing long games, four hours isn't really condusive to either of those. Also personally speaking I've been much more into Fantasy than 40k lately because I don't really like how the new codex books have been going and the way the game is played anymore makes me feel rather antiquated. Right now I have time on tuesdays if someone wanted a random game of Fantasy, or I suddenly had the desire to play a completely random game of 40k but in a few weeks I won't...which goes into the "worst days" situation. Saturday and Monday I can always do, pretty much any time of year, tuesdays I can't.

Tuesday night has become Warhammer (both flavors) open play. We officially start at 6 PM but you are welcome to come up earlier than that if you want to get in even more game time. AS for being open later, if the crowd gets larger on Tuesday night and the demand for later hours is there, we will look into staying open until midnight. Unfortunately we can't justify the extra expanse with the number of people showing up at this time. So please show up now and it may pay off later.

The problem is I'd only be able to show up twice at the most, then I'd be busy every Tuesday night. I might show up for one in the next few weeks if I can arrange for it, but after that I won't be able to. I haven't been going so far because the other people in my group wouldn't be able to and because from what I've heard there aren't any Fantasy people up there on tuesdays and like I said, I haven't been in the biggest of 40k moods lately.
